Quilting:
A Hands & Hearts Ministry

Where Fabric, Faith, and Fellowship Come Together

From beginners and kids just learning to sew, to seasoned quilters who deftly manage wrinkling, buckling, and perfectly true right angles—all are welcome here. Quilting: A Hands & Hearts Ministry is a fun, unique prayer group where time, talent, and creativity are shared in community.

Quilters and sewing fans, rejoice! This ministry celebrates creative textiles and the caring people who make them. Together, we stitch, quilt, and create with purpose—sharing skills, stories, laughter, and fellowship while crafting items that offer comfort and care to others.

You don’t need prior quilting experience to join, and you don’t have to be a member of University United Methodist Church. Whether you come once, visit occasionally, or make this a regular rhythm, there’s a place for you to learn, sew, and belong.

Led by Rhonda Ingham, Quilting: A Hands & Hearts Ministry is open to anyone who enjoys working with fabric—or wants to learn—while being part of a welcoming, prayerful community that puts love into every stitch.
