Children's Ministry Assistant (Part-Time)

Do you love helping children learn, grow, and experience God's love? University United Methodist Church is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Children's Ministry Assistant to join our University Kids team.

In this role, you'll help create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for children from infancy through 5th grade by serving in the nursery, assisting with Kids Space during worship, and supporting Children's Ministry programs and special events throughout the year.

Schedule

Sundays: 8:45 AM – 12:15 PM
Wednesdays: 6:15 PM – 8:15 PM (as scheduled)
Additional Children's Ministry events and seasonal activities throughout the year

Pay

Starting at $15.00 per hour, based on experience.

Passionate about working with children and families
Warm, patient, dependable, and engaging
Able to create a safe, welcoming, Christ-centered environment
A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
Willing to complete MinistrySafe training and background screening requirements
