FLOOD RELIEF SERVICE TRIP
University's response to the July flooding in Hill Country continues
University UMC is mobilizing a team headed to San Angelo, TX to share the love of Jesus in person. We will help families rebuild after the catastrophic flooding in July. We’re working with Galilee Community Development and UMCOR to replace insulation and drywall in homes that have been mucked out.
Dates: Departing the afternoon of Thursday, Oct. 2nd, returning Sunday afternoon, October 5th.
Who: Anyone 16 years and older can participate and work in the homes. Students 15 and under can attend and serve as runners and helpers off-site. There are a limited number of spots for younger students, so please contact Haley Bryant before signing them up.
Where: Lodging and transportation are TBD.
Cost: $50 per person, to pay for our food and gas. Contact Haley with questions about cost assistance.

Hit the road to serve others
Build a house in Acuna, Mexico with Casas por Cristo (just like in 2018, 2020, and Spring Break 2023). In recent years, we've done yardwork and construction for senior citizens in San Antonio with Blueprint Ministries (2019). Serve community organizations while learning about race and reconciliation in Tulsa (Summer 2022). Email us for info on University service and mission trips.
PRESBYTERIAN NIGHT SHELTER
Showing love to our homeless neighbors
Start serving in a high impact, low commitment avenue: feed homeless people with the Presbyterian Night Shelter. The first Sunday of each month, help pack hundreds of sandwiches and meals for men, women, and children at the Shelter. Stay tuned for more exciting ways we're partnering to serve Fort Worth's homeless. Email us to learn more.

Play instruments, help run sound or screens, sing, decorate our worship space. Worried you're not that good enough to get started yet? We'll help you grow as a musician or AV tech, as well as a worshipper. Email the Community worship director if you're interested in the worship team.

Serving teen parents in Fort Worth
Lend a hand to young parents who may need support through pregnancy and once the baby comes home. For parents enrolled in FWISD schools, Berry Sweet Babies offers a boutique "shopping" experience where families can stock up on clothes, diapers, and baby furniture at no cost.
