Build a house in Acuna, Mexico with Casas por Cristo (just like in 2018, 2020, and Spring Break 2023). In recent years, we've done yardwork and construction for senior citizens in San Antonio with Blueprint Ministries (2019). Caring for Our Neighbors Every Step of the Journey

Looking for a meaningful way to serve with a flexible commitment? Join us as we partner with Presbyterian Night Shelter to care for our neighbors experiencing homelessness and those transitioning into stable housing.

WAYS TO SERVE

First Sunday Sack Lunches

Help pack hundreds of sandwiches and meals for men, women, and children at the Shelter.

VIP (Volunteer in Person)

Serve lunch alongside a UUMC team at the Shelter on the 4th Thursday of each month (January–October).

Journey Home Food Closet

Support residents in permanent supportive housing by helping stock our Food Closet, which provides supplemental groceries to help individuals and small households close the gap when food resources are tight.

Sing Your Heart Out

All God's children can have a place in the choir. All singers are welcome! Share your love of singing with us by singing in the choir. No experience necessary. If you have the desire to sing, rest will fall into place. Questions? Email the Heritage Music Director.

BERRY SWEET BABIES

Serving Families In Need

Lend a hand to parents who may need support during pregnancy and after bringing their baby home. Originally created for parents enrolled in FWISD schools, Berry Sweet Babies is now open to any parent in need of assistance in the Fort Worth area.

Through Berry Sweet Babies, families can receive clothing, diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials—as well as baby furniture—at no cost in a welcoming, dignity-centered environment.
