San Angelo Flood Relief service trip

You’ve donated money, put together Flood Buckets, and now University UMC is mobilizing a team headed to San Angelo, TX to share the love of Jesus in person. The team will help families rebuild after the catastrophic flooding in July. We’re working with Galilee Community Development and UMCOR to replace insulation and drywall in homes that have been mucked out. Here are the details we have available now:

Dates: Departing the afternoon of Thursday, Oct. 2nd, returning Sunday afternoon, October 5th. Work days are all day Friday and Saturday.

Who: Anyone 16 years and older can participate and work in the homes. Students 15 and under can attend and serve as runners and helpers off-site. There are a limited number of spots for younger students, so please contact Haley Bryant before signing them up.

Where: Lodging and transportation are still TBD, but will be worked out soon.
