University United Methodist Church is looking for a fun, creative, organized, and energetic Camp Intern to help bring Funkytown Music Camp and Camp Creative to life this summer!

This is a paid, part-time summer position where no two days are exactly alike. One moment you might be organizing art supplies, the next helping with music games, setting up snacks, creating Canva name tags, taking photos for social media, or cheering on campers during showcase performances.

Weekly Hours

20 hours/week during prep weeks
30–40 hours/week during camp weeks

What You’ll Help With

🎨 Camp Creative prep and organization
🎵 Funkytown Music Camp activities and support
📸 Taking fun photos and videos
📱 Posting camp moments to social media
🖍️ Creating signs, name tags, schedules, and materials
🍎 Helping with snacks, meals, and camper hospitality
🎲 Leading games and activities
🎤 Helping with camp showcases and performances
🙌 Creating a welcoming environment for every camper and family

Basically… you’ll help make camp magic happen.

We’d Love Someone Who…

✨ Is dependable and organized
✨ Enjoys working with children and families
✨ Can jump into a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm
✨ Has strong communication skills
✨ Knows Google Suite and/or Canva
✨ Loves music, arts, creativity, or camp life
✨ Brings positive energy and flexibility

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year in a work and/or college setting

Bonus Points If You Have…

🎸 Music experience
🎨 Design or Canva skills
📱 Social media experience
🧩 Camp, classroom, or childcare experience

One More Thing

You’ll need to complete Ministry Safe training before camp begins.
