At University United Methodist Church, we believe that faith is a life-long journey that involves wrestling with real-world issues in light of what Scripture teaches us. We wrestle with these issues within the context of real community. This brochure outlines the many ways you can get connected to the community of faith here at UUMC. Welcome!
It is my hope that you will be able to connect with our faith community in a way that brings you new life and new hope regardless of your current situation. Jesus reminds us in scripture that the doctor is not sent to the well, but to the sick. So whether you have never been to church before or you are a life-long Christian, you are welcome here!
Relationships are the true focus, and life groups are the perfect way to get to know others around UUMC.

Wednesday Soul Feast
Soul Feast dinners are served during the school year. It is our mid-week opportunity to engage in questions of faith and life. All of the above classes are open to everyone and are offered with the belief that there are no bad questions. Come as you are, whether you are brand new to church and faith, or you are a life-long Christian. We exist to explore, not to judge!
Wednesday Classes
People who are new to the faith or just a little rusty in their Bible skills may be interested in checking out the 411 class – an introductory level study led by Sr. Pastor Jason Hamilton. Those looking for a more in-depth Bible experience will enjoy the Bible Study offered in the library. Those simply looking for a place to connect spiritually, or are in need of prayer should head to the sanctuary for the prayer circle.
Life Groups
Life Groups are small groups of people in similar life situations that gather to focus on learning the ways of Jesus in authentic community.
